New Salon programming schedule for 2007 to be posted soon!

We are excited to have kicked off our new Salon season at the DES MOINES ART CENTER on MONDAY, OCTOBER 23rd , 2006.

The Des Moines Art Center invited EVAC members to a special VIP Reception and Preview of the "Aisle 5" exhibition running from October 26, 2006 through January 14, 2007. The Reception was Monday, October 23rd at 5:30pm and was be followed by a gallery talk and preview of the exhibition starting at 6:30pm hosted by Executive Director Jeff Fleming. Members also had the opportunity to visit with featured artist Huang Shih- Chieh . All registered (expired or not) EVAC members were invited to attend at no charge. The Salon is a great opportunity for the community to promote upcoming events by meeting other proactive community members invovled in the arts. Feel free to bring flyers or advertisements for our display area.
